Hinuera is a proud country rugby club catering for senior and colts players. Competing in Waikato Rugby Union’s Division One, 2020 saw the Senior A team go through the season unbeaten.

We have two fields at our club, both with floodlights which enable night games to be played throughout the season.

We would like to welcome our new Senior A coaches for the 2024 Season

Ricco De Thierry and Khan Underwood!!!

Ricco coached 3 seasons at Prem grade Cobras in Te aroha and 1 season in Brisbane, Australia and is looking to bring a fresh approach to the club and really excited for the up coming season

Khan is a familiar face at Hinny, he’s a hardworking committee member and was an instrumental member of our senior rugby team for many years.

These guys have a great pre season plan in place and are both very driven to get the team back to the top of the 1st Division competition for 2024

We are very lucky to have both Jeremy O’Reilly and Jeremy Kidd returning to Coach our mighty senior B team for another year.

Both Coaches have some big goals for the coming season and can’t wait to get stuck in!!

They are backed up by manager Aaron De Has who is also returning for another year with the team.
