GOLDEN OLDIES
The Golden Oldies tradition is still a big part of our club, and a great way for members of all ages and ability to stay involved and have some fun, but we need more people involved to keep this important tradition going! The Golden Oldies philosophy is very simple: fun, friendship and fraternity!
Wives, partners and families are also an integral part of the Golden Oldies structure, we encourage them to get involved, which has made us the envy of a lot of other teams in the past.
The team usually play about 6-7 games from the end of April to the middle of July, depending on circumstances. The season is always ended with a customary pilgrimage to the Whangamata Tournament, a highlight of the calendar.
