MARCHING
Elite Marching Team was formed 4 years ago and required a central place for training so we contacted Hinuera Rugby and Sports who welcomed us into their Club.
We have team members who travel from Rotorua, Papamoa, Tauranga, KatiKati, Hamilton and Matamata.
All our team members have been competitive marchers but now enjoy the “Fun, Friendship and Fitness” motto of Leisure Marching. Our average age is 55, with our ages ranging from 26 – 70.
We train once a week on a Wednesday evening from 6.30 – 8.30 pm in the Hinuera Indoor Cricket Arena.
Two years ago we changed our uniform colours to the Hinuera yellow and black, which we wear with pride.
